Minimar was founded in 1980 by Michael G. Vourlides, a marine insurance professional who recognised that Greek ship owners needed a broker who understood their mentality and spoke their language. From the outset, the company operated from its own premises in Piraeus and quickly developed into an independent, niche broker providing flexible solutions without compromising relationships with underwriters. Today, we remain true to that vision—delivering high‑quality, services with a commitment to integrity, discretion and long‑term partnership.
